For sale is my genuine 1989 Ford Escort RS Turbo finished in Radiant Red with only 49150 miles covered. After 3 years of ownership I find myself in the position like many owners who just don’t get the time to use their pride and joy. With only 1000 miles covered in my 3 years of ownership I’ve made the extremely difficult decision to let the car go and be enjoyed by a new owner.

Exterior:
Finished in radiant red the car has been exceptionally well cared for and looked after throughout its life. No corrosion or rust at all and I have gone over every single panel in detail, the usual spots sunroof, petrol cap etc. and completely free from any blemishes.
The file history shows that on the 24th of March 2012 the car had both sides painted and underneath the car was finished in black stone-chip. The work was undertaken by Dools Auto Refinishing of Glenrothes.
Work undertaken as per receipt “Strip and re-fit exterior trim, repair minor dents on panels. Refinish 2 sides and bonnet, under-seal underside of vehicle. Refinish wiper arms in satin black.”
Interior:
Immaculate Recaro interior which remains unmarked, no sagging or tears. Headlining is in great condition with no sagging or blemishes. Carpets are unmarked and have retained their deep grey colour with no foot/ heel markings visible. Brand new set of RS Owners Club mats will be included.
Original Radio and Graphic Equalizer (with correct code)
Sunroof opens as it should in both ways.
Heated front screen has been replaced with a std screen.
Wheels, Tyres & Suspension:
Fitted with unmarked immaculate 17” RS Softline Wheels purchased brand new from Ford in 2011.
Tyres are matching Yokohama Parada – Size: 205/ 40/ 17
Suspension – Koni Adjustable Suspension fitted 17/ 08/ 2008 by Woodford Motorsport at the cost of £435.
On the one occasion I had someone in the back there is very slight rubbing given the current set-up.
Security:
Ford Installed Immobiliser.
Fitted by Ford, Whites of Taunton, Somerset 03/ 09/ 1995. Documentation including Certificate of Installation & warranty.
History:
The list of owners addresses appears to show the car spent the majority of its time in the South of England in the Devon area until 2007.
