This beautiful very desirable 1965 Chevrolet Impala Coupe SS with its factory original and very rare L78 396cui V8 big block with 425 factory HP, hooked up to a manual Muncie 4 speed transmission. It's a BEAST ! and one of only around 1200 ever produced.
The 65 Impala SS with its unique tail section and sharp coupe body lines are becoming rare finds. Especially in their original condition as many were chopped and hacked or customized. But the car we present to you here is super original and also a true SS car in the beautiful factory original regal red color and with its stunning and matching Red bucket seat interior.
But the best might well be its unique 425HP L78 engine and its Muncie 4 speed manual trans. As in 1965 this was the highest hp car around that was equipped with the all-new 396 Big block that was only available in the 325hp or 425hp L78 version that year. So all in all this is a very desirable and rare car.
This car is the REAL DEAL and for many, it's considered the Holy grail of all Impala's. It's for sure one of the fastest's Classic Chevy's ever produced. This car drives and handles perfectly and really is great fun to own and enjoy.
The car is also completely body off restored and very detailed and correct to its factory condition. We estimate that more than 75k was invested in the resto alone. The complete engine and drivetrain were rebuilt correctly to there factory original specs. This car is not only fast But also has an amazing sound.
Its also equipped with many desirable options, has power brakes and steering and is estimated by most US car appraisers and classic car value guides around 85/ 110k Euro in value. However, our asking price is well below that so it leaves enough room for growth of its future owner's investment.
This car is completely turn key ready and not a project car. It needs nothing !. Its currently being inspected and serviced in our showroom, and more pictures and a video will be presented soon as well.
