We are Land Rover specialists see - details above and we have taken this Series 3 in from the last owner as a part exchange as he was unable to drive a manual gearbox due to his age so he had an automatic Series 2a that we had fully restored.
This Series 3 was originally a 2286cc diesel and has been converted to 2286cc petrol which is more desirable. Also this benefits from servo assisted brakes, parabolic leaf springs for an improved ride, 750R16 tyres and a tow bar.
We have just fitted a new clutch kit, new fuel tank, new front axle chrome swivel balls both sides, renewed all the oils and coolant, steam cleaned and waxed the chassis, wheels shot blasted and powder coated.
It drives well with a smooth engine and gearbox, good steering and brakes. Chassis and bulkhead have had usual repairs over time and are generally solid.
MOT 22nd October 2020 with no advisories, 3 month mechanical warranty with us is included.
