1993 3. 9 V8 RANGE ROVER VOGUE SE - RESTORED VEHICLE
We have pleasure in offering one of our stunning Range Rover Classic vehicles for sale prior to completion this summer.
A very collectible model being one of the last hard dash cars produced which are far simpler to work on and less problematic than the soft dash vehicles with air suspension.
Our car is a low ownership, 63000 mile vehicle that is already well under restoration, having had the body removed from the chassis. The chassis was sand blasted and zinc primed before being treated in raptor protective coating for longevity . Axles have been removed and rebuilt, all parts blasted and either powder coated or painted where applicable. The half shafts have been removed and all bearings and serviceable items including swivels replaced. All four brake callipers have been replaced along with new discs and pads all round. suspension has also been replaced with four new springs and terrafirma all terrain shock absorbers all round.
The engine and gearbox have both been rebuilt and are now ready for installation back into the chassis before fitment of the body.
The body shell has received a number of repairs already to attend to all the usual Range Rover corrosion areas, this includes a new rear crossmember and replacement full sills (inner and outer) as well as inner wing floor sections (below the upright side panels) . We are in the process of replacing the front bulkhead body mount brackets as well as both inner wings and headlamp boxes. The vehicle has then been treated to professional sound deadening throughout.
Once all the metal work is completed the car will be attached to the body with a full new fixing kit as well as all 10 body mounts replaced.
All exterior body panels have been removed and professionally repaired and repainted in factory Beluga Black. The vehicle will also received many new exterior trim items including new grille, headlights, spotlights, replacement bumpers, bumper end caps and badges.
The vehicle has been stripped to a bare chassis and treated with raptor protective coating for longevity . The axles have been removed, stripped and repainted, they have then been fitted with new swivels and bearings. The braking system has been replaced throughout including all new lines and four replacement callipers, new discs and pads all round. Suspension has also been replaced all round, as well as new upgraded Terrafirma shock absorbers and replacement turrets.
The interior car will receive a thorough refurbishment also to include the following:
Full leather retrim in a choice of colours
All carpets replaced throughout
headlining recovered
audio sytem upgraded including quality speakers and iPOD connectivity
Bluetooth handsfree telephone system installed
Refurbishment of any necessary interior plastics
The above will all be included in the advertised price and the customer will also have the option of the following upgrades:
Transmission tunnel trimmed in leather
dashboard trimmed in leather
Door cards trimmed in leather
Boot compartment trimmed in leather
Contrast stitching to all leather
Choice of finish to all interior trims i. e. carbon, silver, piano black
headlining recovered in alcantara rather than cloth in a choice of colour.
This is one of four Range Rover’s that we currently have in build. We also have a fully completed vehicle on site should anyone wish to view prior to completion .
