For sale is this nostalgic classic british saloon,
MK3 ford zephyr 6 with the 2553cc straight 6 engine and 4 speed column shift gearbox.
This car benefits from being a driving restoration for daily driving, the engine runs very well, fires up on the button and revs up great with no hesitation or coughing. The engine has been recently painted and the hockey stick exhaust doesnt blow or leak.
Bodywise:
The body is for the most part very good for a zephyr.... the double skinned floors are in very good condition as are the A Posts, B posts and C pillars, door are also in great condition.
the sills were replaced to a good standard, the gaps in the doors and seams and even and uniform and all doors close with a gentle thud how they should do.
Good bonnet, boot lid, upper quarters and boot floor
The strut tops are original and in good condition, very rare to see them unbodged.
The areas requiring attention are:
the arches- these need sanding down, treating and sorting out
the lower passenger wing- this needs a small repair lower corner
few tiny spots here and there need a tiny blow in.
The interior needs renovation, ripped front seat, dash split and require a new carpet, to be expected...
