For sale here is my father's 1999 Jaguar S-Type 4. 0 V8 with just 38'000 genuine miles.
He has owned the car for around 4 or 5 years and in the time he has had it, any work that the car has needed has been done. The car is in very good condition throughout and is rust free.
There are some marks/ imperfections but nothing that couldn't be easily addressed and with a little TLC the car could be a very fine example. It runs/ drives very well with no obvious issues and is MOT'd until December.
It is only for sale because he really doesn't use it any more and I don't want it to sit and deteriorate, especially with it being an early original V8 with such a low mileage.
Some negative points are: Radio display is intermittent, sometimes it is fine, sometimes pixels disappear, the battery will lose charge if the car is left for a few days but I guess this is just purely down to lack of use. Some marks and scuffs to the bumpers, the air con is not ice cold and the OSR electric window is inoperative.
But, on the plus side, it comes with all service books/ wallets, 2 keys/ fobs, has been serviced regularly in my father's ownership including 8 new coil packs, upgraded top timing tensioners, 4 new tyres, some supension work etc at last MOT.
The interior is in very good order with no real wear at all apart from a little on the driver's seat and all in all, with some time spent, it could be a superb early low mileage V8.
Also it's a pretty rare colour which I think suits the car nicely.
