Beschreibung
Available for sale from a curated private collection, a 2011 Jaguar XK 5. 0 V8 Coupe 50th Anniversary Heritage Edition (indeed Jaguar have just launched the Heritage 60th Edition of the F-Type at £122, 500).
Registration No. YG61LGK
Built in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the E-Type Jaguar, there are a number of special touches to this car from the Jaguar Heritage embossed headrests, sill plate and wheel centres to the two-tone Bond Grain Ivory and Black Heritage leather interior, engine turned aluminium dashboard and Jet Black Suedecloth (Alcantara) headlining.
Also included with this car, which is complete in every way, is a DVD Participant Souvenir of the Jaguar Heritage E-Type 50th Anniversary Tour.
This XK is stunning in Exclusive Black Cherry paintwork, which indeed was exclusive to the Heritage Edition and in this case is unmarked and looks beautiful in cloudy and sunny conditions (with the cherry fleck very apparent in the latter case). It has been ceramic coated and PPF applied to the front bumper and nose cone. The underside of the car and cavities were rust-proofed as a precaution (though of course the X150 XK features a bonded and riveted aluminium chassis and body panels, both a first for a Jaguar grand tourer).
The 19-inch Tamana Alloys fitted with Red Jaguar Heritage wheel centres are completely unmarked and set off the gleaming black paintwork and red calipers perfectly. They are shod in original equipment Dunlop tyres with lots of tread (at least 4. 5mm as reported at the most recent Jaguar main dealer service).
5. 0 V8 385 BHP NA engine with super smooth ZF 6-Speed Automatic gearbox with paddle-shift and only 41, 000 miles from new initially as a demonstrator and then one owner until February 2018 when it arrived in the collection from which it is now being sold having been put to light, careful use as a daily and then stored professionally. Note the mileage may rise slightly as the owner again continues to enjoy it sparingly.
Date of Registration 30th September 2011 by H. A. Fox Jaguar, it was sold to the first keeper on 31st January 2012 (and for which the original invoice is present) who kept the car until 15th February 2018 when it arrived in the current collection.
A new Bosch battery was fitted at this time as well as the ceramic coating and rustproofing carried out along with various other preventative maintenance items (including replacement water pump) and new Dunlop tyres and rear brake pads. The current owner is fastidious and it wants for nothing.

The MOT History is equally impressive and complete again annually and on the dot and with very few advisories, certainly none of any note and one single fail due to a dim rear bulb. MOT Expiry is 30th September 2021.

There are several driving modes available to the V8 Jaguar XK, from Winter Mode which provides sure-footed progress in slippery conditions through to Dynamic mode which changes shift points and exhaust valving for an exhilarating drive. Independently of this the ZF gearbox can be operated in Normal or Sport modes automatically or using the manual paddle shift. Truly a car for all reasons and seasons and ULEZ compliant as well.
For years, the X150 version of the XK was referred to as the “New XK” but now, 15 years since its launch, it’s already becoming something of a modern classic. This was Ian Callum’s first car as head of design at Jaguar and the car takes styling cues from Jaguars of the past as well as setting a direction that would follow through to the F-type some years later. As a 4-seater with plenty of power, many would consider that this car is the most recent GT that Jaguar has produced.
