Being the flagship of the Ford range at the time, the Scorpio was superbly equipped providing motorists with an executive driving experience. This Ultima variant model features the highest level of extras including a CD autochanger, dual-climate control, electric leather seats, cruise control and an automatically dimming mirror. Furthermore, cars with the Cosworth engine had the benefit of traction control and a smooth automatic gearbox delivering 207 BHP to the rear wheels . And, on the 1998 facelift (which this is) the Cosworth badge was added to the trunk lid which on previous years was not visible.
The mileage is recorded at 48, 460 miles, (that’s just 2100 miles per year) and, as is to be expected of a car which has clearly been cherished, the car presents beautifully.
