Jaguar XJ40 Sport - 1994 4. 0S Automatic
I have owned the car for a year, previous to me my Grandad owned it since 2004 and kept it garaged and well maintained
The 4. 0 Sport was a one of 802 model car, it is very rare and is one of the last batch of XJ40's off the production line. The 4. 0S is one of the most desired models. This model also has the passenger Airbag
The car has 133000 miles which mostly were accumulated in the first years of it being on the road. The Jag has only done 25, 000 miles since 2006.
Good points:
For a 1994 car the body is great, the paint is still really good and after a polish it looks great
The inside of the car is tidy
Runs really well
Replaced all spark plugs, replaced distributor cap and rotor arm
Had the rust professionally repaired after 2019 advisory
Front/ Rear upper shock absorber bushings have been replaced
Passed MOT in January with no minors/ advisories
Brand new headlining
Replaced/ Upgraded Speakers
Bad points:
Drivers seat has been painted as it had cracked
Smokes on start up - valve stem seals
