For sale is my Ford Maverick. It’s a great truck that was built at the start of the SUV craze, so still maintains proper looks and space with reliable on and offroad capabilities.

Engine:
Famous Black Top Zetec YF 2. 0 122hp engine. Used in a broad range of cars, from a Ford Focus to kit cars so is extremely reliable and easy to look after. Starts on the button and runs great with no leaks or noises. Fully serviced with many preventative steps taken to replace the important components.
Gearbox:
5 Speed Manual gearbox with selectable 4 Wheel drive. During normal driving it only uses the front wheels but when grip is lost, 4x4 is enabled. This can also be permanently enabled by a push of a button. Clutch, flywheel and all gears working perfectly.
Suspension/ Brakes:
Standard suspension and brakes in good working order. Disks and pads have been replaced all around and brand new alloy wheels and tyres fitted.

Faults:
Usual age related marks across the bodywork and interior. Very clean chassis with minimal signs of rust.
-Bootlid slight surface rust that has been ground down to bare metal and sealed up
So to summarise, it’s a genuine truck from an enthusiast that had an offroad Pajero diesel and wanted to try a mild petrol version, the Maverick delivered in every aspect. Precise car like handling, smooth simple economic engine, great offroad capabilities for camping or a farm with a versatile interior. The parts were extremely cheap in comparison to my usual cars so I carried out plenty of preventative maintenance for many worry free miles. I now fancy an upgrade to a Cayenne Turbo hence the sale.
