For sale is a beautiful cream MG YA 1949 saloon. The car belonged to my late father, so holds a lot of sentimental value but sadly haven't had the time, money or space to give it the TLC it deserves.
It is generally mechanically sound but will need significant work to make it roadworthy again. It has been kept in a dry garage, although as shown by the photos, moisture has unfortunately caused some corrosion to the body work, with signs of damp in the interior trim, veneers and seating, with woodworm affecting the wooden dash and rear bulkhead.
The brake system and coolant hoses will need replacing and possibly some maintenance work done to suspension but underbody has been preserved well using old engine oil. The engine will run with a bit of care but will likely need skimming and replacement valve seats to run unleaded fuel. Open to sensible offers but would like to find a good home for it.
