The squarer-styled, second generation Escort first appeared in January 1975 and remained in production for five years. The Ghia version brought a new level of luxury to the small car class.
First purchased in 1976 from Swale Ford Motors in Kent, this Ghia 1600 has been family owned since new, still retaining its original sales invoice
Finished in Roman Bronze Metallic, it was fitted with inertia reel seat belts, door mirrors and mudflaps from the factory
Cream interior with matching cream carpets and dark wood dash, all of which remain
Supplied with its original invoice and paperwork from when the car was on the road
