Finished in glacier white, this is a running, driving classic that will require some degree of recommissioning before use.
Bought from Woodham Motors in 1972, it's got a lovely service history with mainly supplying dealer stamps up until 1989.
The stamps in the 3 Passport to Service books are stamped at PDI, 914, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 34, 36, 38, 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 50, 52, 55, 56, then goes on to years 1987, 1988, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995.
Looking at the Passport to Service books, the Austin looks to have had a new speedometer fitted at 56k miles. I would assume that the total mileage of the Austin is 56k miles + 27k miles, however please make your own enquiries.
Within the paper work folder there's also a Heritage Trust dating certificate, some past tax discs, owners handbook, lots of past MOT check lists, maintenance and service invoices (dating back to 1973), a corrosion preventative guarantee, laminated original purchase invoice and lots of MOTs dating back to 1975, showing a steadily increasing mileage history.
