JUST watch the classic car shows of 2024 and how they pan out. Pre-war cars are are dead in the water. Late post-war 40s likewise and the 1950s are just about finished! Side valve cars, column change etc etc. I am aged almost 70 now, this is where I came in decades ago. Lovers and "oily rag" owners have died off. Those cars are unwanted. It's 1960s (Thank God God for that!) 1970s and 1980s especially up to 2024 when 1984 cars become tax exempt.
The market is crashing and those who have paid too much for pre-1960 cars are going to struggle. The generation gap moves on. I know. I have found out to my cost by buying them "from the heart" like the old days but, sadly, nobody wants them any more. As I say, 60s to mid 80s is the game now. It is inevitable!
Even your early 60s Midgets, Sprites and for sure the Morris Minor are all being offered for sale at ridiculous prices because the people who bought them (probably during Covid) expect profit. It is not going to happen.
Let's all buy a lot less so that we can sell for a lot less and keep on a level playing field.

The car is in lovely original condition with only a few marks to the paint commensurate with age. She drives superbly.
Although MOT exempt, she has 12 months MOT. She is tax and ULEZ exempt.
This description is based on my opinion of the vehicle, the paperwork that comes with the car and anything I have been told about it. Such are the joys of owning an antique vehicle and they must be taken within their own context and not compared to modern day cars. My classic cars are motoring antiques. This car, for example, is 48-years-old. It's not two, five or even ten-years-old as your own everyday car may be. It has been in service for more than half a century and so will have quirks and faults in there somewhere. However, faults on these old girls are not always apparent when buying and selling classics which is what I do. I do not restore them, nor do I pretend that they are concours cars. The majority of them go out as they came in, and I continue to enjoy finding more - a skill which is becoming increasingly difficult as many of you will be aware. They deserve to be taken on as "family pets" and cared for through thick and then. They don't make them any more and demand now out-strips supply.
