A stunning low mileage, low ownership example of an extremely original well kept E Type Roadster in auto configuration. Originally supplied to the first lady owner on 18th December 1974 by Guy Salmon, Thames Ditton, Surrey. The next keeper, a Doctor and well known collector of low mileage Jaguars in West Sussex kept the car for a further remarkable 41 years, only parting company with it in 2017. The car has been thoroughly maintained, with great recent invoicing by Jaguar specialists showing just the type of history file any stickler for detail will appreciate. The interior is exceptional, and presents as if its barely been sat in. The car still bears its original vinyl hood, tonneau cover, windscreen with the “Triplex Laminated” screen sticker intact, Philips radio cassette and refreshingly both sets of original keys are present. The original handbook pack accompanies containing the original “Passport to Service” booklet with many entries stamped, 1000 miles free service voucher, all pullouts, grease charts, UK dealer list along with the original period Jaguar E Type sales brochure.
