Description
Triumph TR7 FHC – 1976
for sale with mot until end of april 2015
had been off road for a few years although was mot’d in 2012 but driven 3 miles back home and parked in the garage and unused until now.
has had carbs set up and taken for a 25 mile drive including motorway and the car pulls well and revs freely.
the pimento paintwork is in generally good condition but there are various scratches on the car from its time in storage. I believe the car was repainted sometime in the early 2000’s.
falcon stainless steel exhaust
this car was casseted by a previous owner who undertook some 80’s enhancements to include
glass tilting sunroof (unused and as car is garaged, i cannot be certain that it is leak free)
front spoiler
rear boot spoiler
roof mounted aeriel
little magic box of noise – 6 buttons all which play different siren noises very loudly to confuse and scare children, animals and polish car wash operatives
known faults are as follows:
headlights stuck up. All lights work correctly but do not return to the stowed position.
speedo cable fluctuates wildly at motorway speeds. Is fine upto 50mph then bounces around.
various minor scratches and paint chips but no dents.
headlining has been painted black but there is a new old stock one included in the sale.
please contact me for more information and i will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge.
i welcome viewings and will do my best to accommodate but i do work very long hours and am often away from home overnight so please bear this in mind.
i have access to a workshop with ramp if you would like to inspect the car thoroughly but this would need to be at a mutually convenient time to suit the garage owner.
