1976 Jaguar XJ6 4. 2 Coupe, 44, 000 miles but will go up as I will use it in the summer.
The XJC 4. 2 was sold new by Dick Protheroe Motors of Market Harborough. It was later owned by a Mr. Savage who was a racing mechanic with Arrows Racing. It was restored in the Nineties and has full history over the last twenty five years. It was then bought by a classic car restorer in 2012 that had it as part of his collection and then sold it in 2013-14 due to storage problems.
It remains in excellent condition throughout with an immaculate Fern green body work, a lovely interior, and the chrome work is excellent, original condition, with tan leather seats.
The engine is clean and correct. You will see that the XJC sits correctly and it drives beautifully with none of the sogginess of tired examples. It has its original radio cassette player, Kent alloy wheels, seat belts all round, electric windows front and rear and also has the original Dealer Pack, Passport and Service booklet . A rare car in great order.........
I had previously seen it advertised in January of 2014 at Percival Motor Company, but had missed the opportunity to purchase it. They had sold it to the discovery documentary channel.

They have done some very good updates:
SS Full Exhaust System with Ceramic coated headers, 1, 2, 3 Electronic ignition
but other than that, the car did not need for much else.
I purchased this car from the Wheeler Dealer Discovery program in June 2014.
I have added since then:
New Starting Motor.
New Viscous Fan.
New radiator.
These XJC Jaguars are becoming very rare to see in this condition. I have 2 huge folders of information and history of this car, and also the DVD when I purchased it from the Wheeler Dealer program.
With the famous handshake of Mike Brewer.
I am asking for £18500. Please do not give me silly offers as this will only go up in value. I am not that desperate to sell it.
