Here for sale we have a smart Series 3, retro fitted with the highly acclaimed 200Tdi engine, giving much improved performance , reliability and economy. The logbook has been updated to reflect these changes.
On the outside there are lots of nice features - front lamp guards, front tow ball, rear mounted spare, rear step, rear tow bar with height adjustable hitch, and working rear reversing light.
The interior boasts twin front seats with centre box for drinks and belongings. There is carpeting too, so it's a nice place to be and the interior working light is handy too. - the rear is unfitted, but a pair of twin bench seats can be added if required... indeed the centre front may also be fitted with another seat giving room for seven. A pair of side windows may also be fitted, should the station wagon configuration be desired. A set of deluxe mats completes the look. This vehicle is also fitted with a mains invertor, so 240v is available on board!
Out on the road is where this vehicle really excels - underneath that stock exterior lies a very different machine. The culmination of the uprated engine with the extra gearing from the overdrive and Range Rover Diffs, gives a far superior driving experience, with much better cruising to boot. This desirable set up will suit anyone wanting better performance, economy with a better reliability...... so it's classic motoring with a nice twist.
