Now here's one for the shrewd car collector. Destined to be a future classic the ST170 is a dark horse at present but we anticipate that this is destined to change judging by the current trend with all older Ford's.
Having covered just 63, 962 miles this has to be amongst one of the lowest mileage examples currently being offered for sale and couple this with a full service history and it's well cared for looks and condition will make this car hard to beat!
The car is totally standard. There are no aftermarket bolt on parts and with the exception of some smart looking ST badges the car is as it left the factory.
As can be seen, the car is in superb condition and has just been fully valeted to really make it stand out.
The interior is perfect with no wear to the bolsters of the half leather sports seats. It all smells fresh with no evidence of it having been smoked in. I cannot fault it to be honest. Everything works as it should which includes the air conditioning which blows icy cold.
The alloy wheels are in excellent condition and they are fitted with four nearly new tyres.
On the road the car drives faultlessly! There are no untoward noises and the car pulls strongly and effortlessly through all 6 gears. I have driven and sold many of these over the years and I have always only chosen the best examples, this is the finest so far and take it from me that's some achievement!
The car comes with a stack of invoices for work carried out. This includes a replacement clutch, dual mass flywheel and timing belt change. The car is a credit to its former owner for keeping it in this condition and for maintaining it to the highest of standards.
The M. O. T is valid until the 06. 02. 2018.
We have just replaced the rear trailing arm bushes along with many other rear suspension bushes as they are a common cause for concern on this model. We then had the car four wheel aligned by our local Ford dealership to ensure it was done correctly and for total piece of mind.
It's fair to say you will be hard pressed to find a better example considering all of the above, therefore if you are looking for one of these then this is one not to be missed!
