We are delighted to present this smart hardtop Series 3, fitted with side windows.
On the outside, the vehicle is largely 'of the period' with bonnet mounted spare, vintage numberplates and yellow period mudflaps (now an unprocurable and rare item). Door-mounted Defender mirrors are fitted to improve visibility over wing-mounted mirrors. and correct limestone wheels complete the very standard and unmodified set up. The bodywork survives in good order, and the paintwork is also of a "better than usual" standard.
On the inside, the "standard " feel of this truck continues, with everything where it should be and sno silly additions to detract. - deluxe matting is fitted to the front footwells with a load mat to the rear. A recent set of standard seats are fitted to the front complimented with inertia reel seat belts. The rear is currently unfitted, although rear benches can be added upon request to allow capacity for 7 occupants (£295).
Out on the road, this old girl drives just as she should, aided by the quiet, petrol engine. It is also pleasing to note that all the dials still function - even the dash lights - which is getting unusual these days!
