Description
Motors Corner is pleased to present for sale this Lancia Stratos ListerBell STR “Le Mans” replica. It is a modern and faithful interpretation of the legendary Lancia Stratos Turbo Group 5, entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1976 and 1977, as well as the Tour Auto and the Giro d'Italia.
Built by the British specialist ListerBell, recognised as the global reference for faithful reproduction of the Stratos, this version retains the tubular chassis and suspension geometry of the original car, while benefiting from an extended wheelbase by 12 cm to offer more interior space and better stability.
This car belonged to driver Michel Elkoubi, a well-known figure in French motorsport and former participant in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The care given to the build is exemplary: every detail, every mechanical and structural element has been assembled to competition standards. Only 2, 500 km have been covered since its completion.
Mechanical condition
Mechanically, this ListerBell is fitted with a tuned Alfa Romeo 3. 2 GTA V6 engine, developing between 310 and 350 horsepower. Induction is via a Jenvey individual butterfly throttle injection manifold, together with sport camshafts.
The chassis sits on fully adjustable suspension, equipped with dual-rate dampers (compression/ damping), as well as front and rear anti-roll bars. The running gear is from a full competition setup.
Braking is provided by high-performance six-piston calipers.
The cooling system benefits from forced-air ventilation; the mechanical package is in impeccable condition, impeccably maintained and ready to drive.
Exterior condition
The bodywork of this Stratos is made entirely of fibre and Kevlar, from the official ListerBell moulds.
The car sits on Marvic magnesium wheels, shod with Michelin TB15 Course tyres, a faithful nod to the car’s competition spirit.
Interior condition
The cockpit is fully clad in black Alcantara, offering a sober and immersive atmosphere.
The Sabelt bucket seats are fitted with 4-point harnesses, guaranteeing safety and support in all circumstances.
The dashboard gathers a complete and fully functional instrument cluster: oil pressure and temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, rev counter and auxiliary gauges.
The car also has air conditioning and forced-ventilation system, rare comfort on a build of this level.
The whole is finished to perfection, with no wear or notable signs of use. Each control, each switch, works with the precision of a competition build.
