This is a very nice BMW 2002 tii Baur convertible. It is a German vehicle in Golf yellow with very attractive fabric / leatherette interior. The vehicle has been well maintained both inside and out. It still possesses the first German registration document from 1972 as well as the instruction manual. The BMW was registered exclusively in Germany. The history is nicely documented with numerous invoices and receipts.
The BMW 2002 Tii Baur convertible attained the classification as an Oldtimer according to the German § 23 StVZO (H-approval) carried out by the TÜV. An additional appraisal was carried out by TÜV Nord in which the vehicle received the overall grade ‘two’.
Various work has recently been carried out on the vehicle. For example, the Alpina rims were revised and fitted with new Michelin tyres, a sports camshaft was installed and Weber twin carburettors were mounted. In addition, extensive vehicle maintenance and a Mike Sanders cavity seal were carried out. The interior has been reupholstered.
The engine power registered in the vehicle documents amounts to 96 kw / 130 hp.
According to the vehicle documents the brake system and suspension are those of the BMW 2002 Tii.
