1984 Ford Escort Bantam Pickup. This is a genuine Ford Built Bantam pickup based on the Mk3 Escort and was only available in South Africa. Its RHD and has recently been imported. All tax and duty has been paid and the NOVA registration has been done. We will assist you with the paperwork for the UK registration.
Body - Ford built Bantam pickup. Fairly good having spent its life in sunny south Africa. Good , inner wings, rear bed, doors, sills. Will need a battery tray replaced and repairs on front floors.. Paint is a bit worn and scruffy as this was a working truck.
Mechanics - 1600 CVH. Car starts , runs and drives. Engine starts ok, All standard suspension and drivetrain. As with any old car will need a good checkover
before blasting down the local B Road,. The MOT in SA is not as strict as ours so expect to have to replace some perishable items such as bushes, gaitors etc.
Interior - Dash has been recovered badly. . Seats are useable but a bit worn as are door cards.
