C reg 1986 Ford escort Series 1 RS turbo custom.
I truly believe this is one of the best series 1 RS turbo’s in the country for sale.
It is with a heavy heart I have decided to sell.
It has 12 months mot where it flew through with no advisories and all I received was compliments from the garage as every crowded around it admiring it.
A very genuine 46, 750 miles which is exceptionally rare to find and fully supported by every mot present and the huge file of papers.
It is exceptionally clean, straight and tidy and is hpi clear. No rust or rot. The interior shows no lumbar wear and no sagging in the seat material. Gearbox is smooth no slipping of the clutch and no gearbox play or crunching, engine runs starts up and drives superb. No funny smoke on startup either.
Sunroof works perfect and no rust around it and it opens seamlessly and is leak free, it’s super clean in out and in the engine bay. No silly speaker cut out in the parcel shelf or doors. It drives amazingly no rattles shakes or wobbly steering the way this car makes you feel is another level.
She is largely standard for the purists but has had some additional work to make her a better quicker car and reliable.

The car has had a full ground up nut and bolt restoration to an exceptionally high standard.
The photos I took over the last two weeks at two different shows where the car drove absolutely faultlessly even in the tropical weather no issues at all. Latest pictures are taken after a local drive out in the sun ie all current pictures of the car..
I know my cars good but the show in Derbyshire I was staggered how many people wanted to talk to me about the car and the comments about how clean and tidy she is were incredible which made it even harder to decide to sell. Truth be told I don’t want to sell nor do I need to but circumstances mean she probably isn’t now going to be driven again for quite a while. I’m not desperate to sell I’m quite happy to put her back in dry storage in my car coon so please don’t make a silly offer it’ll just be ignored sorry.
