Advertising on behalf of a customer Ford Escort Mk1 1300 4 Door. Imported from South Africa in 2015 and is fully UK registered with the V5 here. Solid old car which someone has spent a bit on. Starts runs and drives and can be used as it is.
Body - 4 door mk1 shell. Good wings, doors, inner wings, boot , bonnet, rear arches, floors are solid but front floors have been repaired in the past. Sills also look to have had a repair in the past. Paintwork is tidy enough. Its perfectly presentable but not a show winner. Bit of bubbling on bottom of front wing. Set of 4 cibies fitted. Front quarter bumpers and mexico lip spoiler fitted
Mechanics - Good quiet 1300 Gt engine with standard 4 speed box and standard drivetrain. Car starts runs and drives well. No nasty smoke or rattles. Brakes and clutch are ok.
Interior - Standard 2 dial dash and vinyl seats which are in good order. No rips or tears. Good door cards and headlining. New boot carpet.
Wheels - MK1 RS alloys with good 185/ 60/ 13 tyres
