Original Pewter Silver (with original LE transfers).
Minilites currently fitted plus original alloys supplied with the car.
This MGB was supplied new in the UK as part of the final Abingdon production run and had very little use in its first 30 years, recording only a little over 20, 000 miles prior to import to Jersey in 2013. Since then, it has only covered a further 5, 000 miles mostly in Europe where the car resided at times.
The car runs and drives as a well-cared for low mileage and little used vehicle should. Owner maintained whilst in Jersey. The engine bay is tidy, very clean and the vehicle benefits from having an electric fan fitted.
This car has all the original LE specification fitments - a front spoiler and alloy wheels, together with a metallic Pewter paint finish and special LE decals on the sides of the car. Minilite alloy wheels are currently fitted but the original alloy wheels (in very good condition) are included with the car. The bodywork is in excellent original condition with only a few minor blemishes. Best leave as is, as it is only original once.
The interior is in excellent condition as might be expected for a low mileage vehicle and all original, with the exception of the front seats and headrests which have been upgraded (firmer seat units for extra comfort) and refurbished with leather-faced covers. The original seat covers come with the car.
A very low mileage, special edition MBG GT in excellent original condition, reflecting the care given to it and limited use during its life.
A collector’s vehicle which could equally be used on a daily basis. We can assist with the import and export process if required. The car is currently located in Dorset should viewing wish to be arranged by appointment.
