Text: 1973 b gt, superb car in many respects, on the button mechanically as over lock down had £1700 spent on new webber carb all ignition parts replaced inc distributor, high torque starter motor, water pump, fuel pump, full rear suspension and brake rebuild, parabolic springs spax dampers new bushes, plus much more, front end had same treatment few years previous done hardly any miles on new parts, this mg is very solid couple of very small bits on body but i mean small, paintwork has gone funny think oven was too hot when painted and its bubbled up mainly bonnet and wing tops especially around headlights, but what a great car underneath, interior is superb, genuine moto lite wheel, mint carpets , superb headlinning and seats, nice dash, working overdrive, excellent mechanicals, drives spot on, brakes are excellent ready to use, webasto sunroof in perfect condition fully working, doors open and shut nicely, reciepts for all work done ols pics etc, was repainted early 1990 and has held up remarkably well. can t decide to either run it this year but just have other projects to do so its now a distraction. sensible priced.
