The XK8 is a grand tourer car that was launched in 1996 and was the first generation of a new XK series available in both coupé and convertible body styles and with the new 4. 0 litre Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. The1998 XKR was introduced with a supercharged version of the engine. Jeremy Clarkson, during a Top Gear test-drive, likened the interior of the original XK8 to sitting inside Blenheim Palace. This 1998 XKR was converted by Paramount Performance from new to Donnington specification and is supplied with a notification of supply with a Paramount full health check. The Donnington specification includes speed shift gearbox conversion, 19" alloy wheels, uprated suspension, selectable steering, Steel dash trim kit, remapped ECU, uprated supercharger, Paramount exhaust and induction system and Paramount aero body kit. This example has had six caring owners from new one of which was the supplying dealer and one the owner of Paramount Performance but also boasts a full service history as can be seen in the stamped maintenance book, invoices from Racing Green which includes replacement timing chain, guides and replacement gearbox.
