Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Bertone (106. 02) first series from 1964, argento auteuil metallic with real red leather interior (matching colors).
Carefully preserved car, used since the 90s as a collector’s car only for rallies and contests of elegance.
Repainted in 1992 only externally, today it looks very good even if with some small signs of the time well acceptable. No accidents.
Interior redone new with leather and color conforming to the original. Working electric windows.
Original original equipment mechanics and engine (AR 601) in excellent working condition. In August 2020 the engine was subjected to overhaul with replacement of the cylinder liners and pistons, main bearings and connecting rod, head overhaul and new valve seats.
Original plates and documents. Asi gold plate approved.

This high-class coupe, comfortable for four adults, was a very high-performance car designed for fast touring; the mechanics, except for the shortened wheelbase to 2580 mm, is that of the 2600 Spider with 145 HP engine and 5-speed gearbox. + RM and 200 km / h top speed. The car is reliable and equipped with all the best comforts for the time. The impressive and at the same time streamlined line had an excellent commercial success. It is worth remembering that the 2600 Sprint had electric windows, air conditioning and leather interiors among its options to be requested for a fee. The 2600 Sprint “106. 02 series” was produced in 6, 999 units, of which 597 with right-hand drive. The style was the same as the previous 2000 Sprint, one of Giorgetto Giugiaro’s first designs for Bertone, the only substantial difference is on the front hood, where a central air intake appears to be able to house the new 6-cylinder in-line engine. A certain number of 2600 Sprints with special equipment was purchased by the Ministries of the Interior and of Defense to equip the mobile departments of the Police and Carabinieri respectively, immediately becoming the top cars of the police and still known today as “Panthers “and” Gazelles “from the respective emblems of the bodies that had them, one of them is still exhibited in the police car museum together with a 2000 Sprint.
