Description
Original Briggs steel-bodied car with the legendary 9HP engine. Owned and driven since 2012 until last summer. Always securely garaged. Some history going back to 1980s and proof of restoration work in the early 1990s. Engine rebuild by Keith Pointing, a recognized Riley Racing specialist in 2001. Engine running well and pulling strongly - preselector gearbox. Some work done e. g. stainless-steel tank replacement. Best described as mechanically sound and an ongoing resto-project. Now needing rear wings repaired and a respray, so off the road. Not 100% original (e. g. modern dynamo). Interior is good and was also restored in the 1990s.
Sound car worth restoring & enjoying. Not desperate to sell, but haven't currently got the time to do this car justice. If genuine interest, car should be viewed. Collection by buyer after payment. Original UK reg with the car. Might consider part exchange for something more modern if LHD. 20 minutes from Zurich.
