This original Cosworth was first registered15/ 09/ 86 has covered 61500 miles from new. It was laid up at approximately 61, 000 miles, when it was 10 years old due to sky high insurance premiums. The previous owner bought the car from his neighbour when it was 4 years old and remained with him for the next 30 years. The car was stored in insulated storage for the next 24years, before being bought by me just under 3 years ago. Upon purchase it was immediately delivered to a Ford RS specialist for total recommissioning over a period of 10 months. This included but not limited to, new fuel tank, brakes rebuilt, new discs & pads, wheels refurbished, 4 new tyres, new injectors, new steel replica exhaust system, etc. all carried out with total originality in mind. The final detailed 5 page invoice totalled just under £8400. This must be one of the most original unmolested, unrestored, untampered 3 door Cosworths around, with basically total history from new. MOT'd and a large history file.
