This car must be one of the last unrestored examples of a fabric bodied Monaco Plus Ultra. . I am told the body is rare. The body is of Weyman construction and has a Weyman badge above the windscreen. The interior is original though there have been a few changes in the engine department. All the original parts are with the car so it could be put back to stock configuration.. The engine has been changed to coil ignition and the fuel pump to an electric one. The Solex carburettor has been changed to an overhauled SU. Last year a new fuel tank was fitted. The Blockley tyres have just seven hundred miles of use. The 36k mileage would appear to be genuine. Reason for sale - I couldn't resist buying another Riley. A new radiator was installed four years ago.
