Rare MK1 Ford Escort 1300 Executive in very original condition. This was an extremely popular model back in the 70s, for it's obvious good looks!
Previous owners have spent a lot of money restoring this car. The body has been recently resprayed in its original metalic purple, in great conditon for it's age. The engine was overhauled by a previous owner and for a 1300 she shifts! The wheels have been upgraded to 5 1/ 2 inch RS alloys, with good tyres all round. A straight through exhaust has also been fitted, which gives the car a fantastic sound. The interior is in great condition and remains extremely original. Original wood trim throughout, with the classic 4 gauge dash displaying engine temp, fuel level, oil pressure and battery voltage. The original sound system has been upgraded with a Pioneer CD player ans speakers. This car has been fitted with a remote cobra alarm/ immobiliser and does have a tracker fitted though needs reactivating.
I've used this car on a daily basis and has proven reliable. The car comes with a comprehensive service history.
Included in the sale are the original stainless steel sill trims, spare set of front head lamps, spare rear light units and front lucas spotlights with covers.
