The story: In its early years, Ferrari concentrated mainly on motor racing and produced only a limited number of road cars for a select group of prominent customers. However, in the 1950s, as the costs of racing rose, Ferrari was forced to increase its production of road cars to generate additional funds. Ferrari unveiled the Pinin Farina-designed 250 GT Europa at the inaugural Paris Motor Show in 1954, marking the company's first true production model and laying the foundations for all subsequent variants of the Ferrari 250.
Due to the enormous demand for the 250 Ferrari, Pinin Farina was unable to keep up the production rate and called in the services of Carrozzeria Boano, run by Mario Felice Boano, one of Pinin Farina's designers. A total of 74 Ferrari 250 GT Boano were built, and the 250 GT Boano was first delivered to its original owner, Mr Otto Wild of Switzerland, in 1957. It remained in Switzerland until it was sold to a private individual in the UK in May 2000. Since March 2002, the current owner has been in possession of the car and has registered it in the Netherlands. Rallies and hill climbs: The Boano took part in various touring events throughout its life. 1962, a fine photo at the Monthlery circuit showing the Boano with Mr Hubert and his companion in their racing helmets. 1963, 14th National Hill Climb - Mitholz Kandersteg - Switzerland - result #266: winner of the day.

In the cabin, the removable four-point roll bar provides a robust and secure sanctuary. The Halda Tripmaster is ready to log the miles ahead. Mechanical: In 2022, HCS meticulously prepared and rebuilt the engine, including fitting a new steel crankshaft. The engine received a number of upgrades, including new crankshaft bearings, new pistons and much more, resulting in a fast and reliable engine. If you're thinking of taking part in a rally and outperforming the competition, this vehicle deserves your attention as a serious contender. Its impressive performance makes it a prime candidate.
