This lovely car left the factory 2nd September 1958, originally painted in Mist Grey with a light Blue interior. Through the 1960’s and 70’s it was repainted different colours, the change to its current Red occurred during major restoration work undertaken between 1989 and 1993. There are photographic prints of some of the restoration on file.
The car was last purchased in 2005 and following recommissioning work it received mechanical attention (crankshaft damper, new wheel hubs all round, stainless steel exhaust, electrical system converted to negative earth.) In 2010, both door bottoms had rust cut out and repaired and repainted along with repairs to N/ s rear wheel arch.
It would appear from the MOT history that in this owners tenure it has travelled in excess of 36, 000 miles with many invoices showing good continuous maintenance during the period up until 2018, the last MOT being undertaken in May 2020.
The history file contains considerable details of work undertaken together with invoices.
