We offer for sale this beautiful and extremely rare Delahaye 235 Coupe L’Elfe from 1953. This One-Off Delahaye is the last Delahaye designed by coachbuilder Joseph Figoni. Figoni was responsible for the design of various Delahaye/ Talbot bodies and is a legendary name from the “Narval” era. It is said that the Delahaye that we offer for sale here was used as a personal car by Figoni himself and exhibited at the Concours d’Elegance.
The restoration of the Delahaye took 5 years and was recently completed. The restoration cost over € 200, 000 and no expense or effort was spared to make this a top example again. A very extensive photo report of the restoration is available.
The Delahaye 235 Coupe L’Elfe by Figoni is powered by the revised 3557cc 6-cylinder engine with manual Cotal 4-speed gearbox.
During the restoration of this beautiful classic, the steel bodywork was stripped and repainted. The leather upholstery was kept original and looks beautiful. Some unique features of the Delahaye are the original Figoni sliding roof, Figoni steering wheel and the original radio.
