Chassis No BC51LAF is the fourth of just twenty-two cars built-in left-hand drive to Design No 7400 by H. J. Mulliner. It was originally completed in January of 1956 finished in regal red with a beige leather (VM 3309) interior. It was supplied by Garage de l’ Athenee in Geneva to its first owner Mr Max Dubuis, also of Geneva and has had just two owners since, remaining in Switzerland from 1956 until 2025. In 2023 the car benefitted from various works, including a re-trim and the overhaul of various mechanical components. In more recent times Chassis No BC51LAF has undergone a detailed inspection and preparation process by our workshop team to bring the car up to showroom standard cosmetically speaking, to ensure it performs correctly, is reliable and is also a pleasure to drive. It comes complete with tools, original handbook, copy chassis cards, FIVA identity card and an original Bentley Continental brochure from the 1950s. An original left-hand drive S1 Continental Fastback by H. J. Mulliner is an exceptionally rare and highly coveted model, and we are delighted to be offering this superb example for sale at this time.
