Firstly i would like to put this little paragraph up for anyone new to this scene and wanting to get into it. I have been in connection with these fast becoming fashion icons for the past 4-5 years, taking my time to study the market and prices on these desirable mainstream vehicles, in that time i have imported around 25 classic vehicles. They are all sourced from the dry states such as california and texas with minimal to no rust.
luckily enough i have owned and built this 1958 chevrolet apache 3100 pick-up truck so i know it inside out and is in tip top condition so it will save you a lot of £££££’s paying out for it to be brought up to that standard! It is a turn key jump in and drive daily usable truck ready to instantly put a smile on your face. Uk registered so the truck is ready to rock n roll for the beginning of show season!

1958 chevrolet apache 3100 stepside pickup truck rare (only 2 year production 58-59 twin headlight model) in hot rod black, i have owned this truck since it came into the uk in 2012, brought as a project from jim cronin at classic carriage co romford essex ( i have all the pictures to show what it looked like originally ), since then i have fully restored it to become the hot rod truck it is today, frame off restoration, frame was stripped / cleaned and hand painted with gloss hammerite paint to protect it from uk weather,
new th350 3 speed auto box, new crate 350 5. 7 v8 325 bhp engine, new heidts mustang 2 front end with 4 x power disc brakes, and power rack / pinon steering, new rebuilt 88 pontiac firebird rear axle with limited slip diff and 2. 77 ratio, all new interior and all electrics rewired and new 12v alternator system has been added
i have every receipt and invoice for every part i have brought for this truck over the last 8 years, this truck has cost me nearly £35, 000 to build and make it the perfect truck it is today (so i know all its uk history and nut and bolt build, not many owners of trucks for sale in the uk can say this).
upgraded brake booster mounted under the floor, with all new brake lines, and disc brake setup on the front and rear.
it has a new turbo 350 3 speed auto gearbox, on original steering column and new 24" lokar floor swan neck shifter, this really does add fun to driving this truck, having the 3 gears and the 2. 77 gear ratio in the rear axle, it makes cruising at 60-70 mph feel effortless and dosent leave the engine revving its guts out. All gauges work fine (yes including the fuel gauge), oil pressure is very good i will add.
the 58 apache has a complete original dash with all its factory gauges / dash trims and lights still in top condition. It also has its factory bench seat that slides back and forth to adjust leg room. Windows all go up and down as they should in there runners with no problems. Door rubbers and window felts are new and in great shape also. there is no rattling from any of the windows when the truck is driven at higher speeds. Bodywork and sheet metal is in great shape. No holes in floor pans / or cab corners (it is totally rust free). new 12v electric window wiper motor conversion kit has been fitted for the lovely uk weather. The cars cooling is managed by a 16" 120w slimline electric cooling fan that is operated manually by a switch mounted under the dash for perfect engine cooling, while sitting in traffic on a hot summers day.

* chrome 15" smoothie alloy wheels with hercules hp4000 tyres*
* dual turbo race exhausts (sound great adding to the muscle hot rod look) i am about to add new performance block hugger header manifolds*

* this pickup truck is an appreciating all round cool hot rod / street rod truck, and drives perfectly, with very responsive steering and power, i cant describe it any other way*
* priced in conjunction with us prices @ £30, 000 as it would cost you £35, 000 to build here in the uk from a wrecker
(as it has done me), and they are fetching more than the asking price in the us for the same model and condition, thats before you add the shipping and taxes on top *
* please dont winge about the price find another 58 chevrolet apache thats been ownd by the same owner for the last 8 years, and had the full restoration / money spent on it (with all bills / recepts to back it all up) for this price both in the uk and in the states that you can get home for the same price in this condition with no expenditure needed and as cool looking*

my reason for selling this truck is i just dont get time to use it anymore, ive used it twice in the last 18 months, it was my teenage dream to own a 58-59 twin headlight apache, and now i can say ive done it and had it for 8 years.
