The paintwork remains in excellent display condition with a uniform tone and strong gloss. After a professional polish using a rotary polisher by our workshop, we noted some micro-blisters and light lifting on the front face and boot lid, a small paint chip corrected at the top of the passenger door, and a slight misalignment at the lower edge of the doors. The black vinyl roof is in very good condition and its seal remains compliant with the original standards. The Depression-bulb pop-up headlights are fully functional, albeit a little slow to deploy. The chrome “Obus” type mirrors are in good condition. This example is equipped with a 6-point rollcage. The original 13’’ steel wheels in Grey are in perfect condition. The four FIRESTONE tyres show 30% wear at the front and 40% at the rear. This example retains its original spare wheel. Among the notable exterior items of interest on this car we note: the chrome “Obus” mirrors and the 6-point rollcage. Interior: The interior retains its original layout. It was restored in 2017 (invoice available) and today remains in pristine condition. The “Black” leatherette upholstery is in excellent condition. The black leatherette door panels are in good shape except for the driver’s door panel which has a small nick (about 10 cm). The central armrest in black leatherette is in perfect condition. The wooden dashboard is also in very good condition with no cracks or splits. The black vinyl-covered dash cap is in good condition despite a slight deformation. All Smiths instruments are fully functional. The Lotus 3-spoke leather steering wheel and the wooden Lotus gear knob are in very good condition with only a light patina from use. The black carpet is in good condition with no wear or discolouration. This example is equipped with a battery cut-off and a SABELT fire extinguisher. Among the noteworthy interior items we noted: the 3-spoke leather steering wheel, the wooden Lotus gear knob, the battery cut-off and the SABELT extinguisher. Chassis: The lifting on to the ramp confirms a ladder-frame chassis and a solid polyester body without any signs of structural corrosion.
