After a professional polish with the orbital polisher by our workshop, we noted a few micro-blemishes and light paint lifting on the front face and tailgate, a small paint chip touched up at the top of the passenger door, and a slight misalignment at the lower door edges. The black PVC soft top is in very good condition and its seal remains compliant with original standards. The depression-operated headlights are fully functional, though a little slow to open. The chrome “Obus” mirrors are in good condition. This car is fitted with a 6-point roll cage. The original 13” steel wheels in “Grey” are in perfect condition. The four FIRESTONE tyres show 30% wear on the front and 40% on the rear. This car retains its original spare wheel. Notable exterior/ equipment items include: chrome “Obus” mirrors and the 6-point roll cage. Interior: The cabin retains its original configuration. It was restored in 2017 (invoice available) and still presents in pristine condition. The black leatherette upholstery is in excellent condition. The door panels in black leatherette are in good condition except for the driver's door panel which has a small nick (10 cm). The central armrest in black leatherette is in perfect condition. The wooden dashboard is also in very good condition, with no cracks or breaks. The leatherette-covered dash cap is also in good condition despite a slight deformation. The entire SMITHS instrument cluster functions perfectly. The 3-spoke LOTUS leather-wrapped steering wheel and the wooden LOTUS gear knob are in very good condition with only a slight patina from use.
