The car was completely stripped down, and certain components such as the chassis were not deemed to be in the condition required for a competition car. So:
New chassis, properly reinforced and treated against corrosion.
New suspension components.

Front brakes with larger calipers.
Tilton brake balance bar.
Aeroquip brake hoses.
Competition brake pads.
Minilite wheels with centre-lock fixing.
Avon CR6 ZZZ 185/ 70-13 tyres.
Homologated 6-point roll cage, anchored to the chassis.
Fillett carbon bucket seat.
Bodywork fully refurbished.
Headlights behind perspex covers.
Engine supplied by Tony Johnson.
Track camshafts.
Large valves.
Electronic ignition.
Modified cylinder head.
Lightened and balanced rotating assembly.
Forged pistons.
Weber 45 DCOE carburettors.
Dyno power: 192 bhp (see graph) at 7, 500 rpm.
Torque: 20. 0 mkg at 6, 000 rpm.
Stack rev counter.
