1968 Ford Escort Mk1 1300 GT - LHD . Very early car built in Feb 1968. Imported from the Netherlands where it has been in dry storage for many years. All tax and duty paid and car is fully Uk registered. This car has never been welded and is solid underneath and original. It will require a cosmetic restoration but overall a cracking shell for its age. Must be one of the first GTs ever produced.
Body - LHD 1300 Gt. Original inner wings, strut tops, boot wells, sills, floors, wings. Very very original old car. Underneath is spot on. Will need work on the rear arches door bottom and wing bottoms mainly and minor repairs around strut tops. Paintwork is well worn as you would expect but overall a very very original old car.
Mechanics - All standard and original. We have not had it fired up as we are guessing if someone buys this the 1300 will get removed in favour of something a bit hotter.
Interior - Very clean original GT interior, 6 dial dash, deep dish Gt steering wheels . Original doorcards, good original headlining.
