When I spoke to the last owner he was emphatic the low 26000 indicated mileage was correct. Sceptical as I was I now think there is every chance it is correct, particularly having owned a 9000 mile from new example 30 years ago that was not as nice. So attractive with British racing green coachwork and superb original recoloured antique green leather trim. Rare manual overdrive example as nice as I have ever driven - which is lots. I love XJs. Fascinated with the mileage and condition. I went round all the body with a magnet and it stuck everywhere which is amazing at this age. Nice enough to show but not too good to use and enjoy and very little to do to make it among the best anywhere. Rare opportunity.
