Built in 1961 and supplied to the Central Army Vehicle Depot. Acquired from MoD by RJ Searle Ltd (of Carawagon conversion fame) for ‘civilianisation’ and registered for re-sale in 1969.
Comprehensive ground-up mechanical rebuild on a Richard's replica chassis. Rebuilt engine (unleaded head), new clutch. Rebuilt axles, front swivels, steering, brakes, transmission. Michelin 7. 50x16 tyres on Limestone rims. Autosparks loom. Stunning bare-metal bodywork restoration with every detail attended to. Perfect bulkhead and front panel (waxoyled). Cappings etc regalvanised. New seats. Front inertia seatbelts, auxiliary USB/ 12v.
