Description

Originally built in October 1926, this Series 7 Lancia Lambda 216 long wheelbase chassis (Tipo 216) was built as a standard Torpedo.

Part of the Jamieson family collection, headed by world Lambda authority Bill Jamieson, who wrote the definitive book on the model, ?Capolavoro?, this Torpedo Tourer has been restored with originality to the fore. Although not entirely a matching numbers car, the Lambda?s dashboard ? for example ? is extremely original with correct instrumentation, while even the boot latches are original!

Wearing its attractive Torpedo bodywork which is finished in dark brown with black guards (wings), there are some marks of use around its edges but nothing major, while inside the black leather-trimmed open cockpit is in good shape. A pair of ?occasional seats? is fitted in the rear compartment to turn the tourer into a six-seater.

It?s a nice example of a very useable Lambda.
