Very fine example of the MGA 1500, year 1959, in original configuration.
It is equipped with its matching 1500 cc engine with SU twin carburettors, 15‑inch steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, a new and functional soft top.
It is supplied with an additional set of 4 48‑spoke wire wheels, era option (transformation kit included).
The paintwork, very well cared for, was redone in 2020. The bodyshell is in excellent condition, gleaming, as are the chromes which are all present.
Putting it on the ramp allowed us to confirm a healthy chassis and sills, although a few minor superficial oxidations are to be noted.
Wooden floorboards are in perfect condition.
As for the engine, its original engine is maintained as it should be.
Recently, some work has been carried out:
- The crankshaft has been overhauled
- The clutch release bearing is new
- The ignition distributor is new
- An electronic ignition has been installed
- The radiator is new as is the water pump
In 2021, the carburettors were overhauled.
The braking system, suspensions, and the condition of the tyres were checked at the voluntary technical inspection we carried out.
As for the interior, the whole has been renewed including the seat foams.
The dashboard is red, highly presentable.
The instrumentation is functional.
The carpets and boot lining have been replaced.
