For sale, our Mk 1 Austin Cooper S 1275cc, first registered 7th December 1966.
The car presents extremely well with excellent paintwork, glass, chrome, interior etc. Owned since May 2018. The car has benefitted from a full engine rebuild by a renowned classic specialist with bills for £7. 5k. Professionally maintained with just over 3000 miles since. The car is in great shape all round. At some point in its history, we think possibly mid to late 1990’s, it was rebodied into a Mk 1 Cooper shell. We also believe the Tartan Red with Black roof paintwork dates from this time.
The body is solid with no rust in the usual places. The Tartan Red/ Black paintwork still appears stunning and the interior looks fresh with new Newton red brocade and gold seats. The fronts are recliners. All gauges and equipment are in full working order, inc the correct 130 mph speedometer.
Drives and performs extremely well, and will be sold with a new MoT.
