Granada 2. 9i RS 4x4 Police Concept Car . This is a 1 of a kind 1988 model Police 2. 9i RS 4x4 Concept Car 5 speed manual , This car is 1 of 6 ever built and is the only one left , This car was built by Ford SVO Department and Wiltshire Police had it from 1988 till 2011 and its now been fully restored and I mean fully plus we have the full Police history with the car to much to say about it really but its all here . This is a Ford proto type car these were made by Ford SVO and Woodway Engineering for a trial , and of there time they were police cars of the future . But they never took off because of cost at the time. This car was owned by Wiltshire Police from 1988 till 2011 when they sold it and it has had a complete rebuild and respray but the car has never been welded so much to list but have a lot of receipts and all the police history I even have the forces vehicle log book . This vehicle is a part of police History and very very rare but I must say it is not just a Granada it is a proto type and not a standard car it is a Rs 2. 9i and its 4 wheel drive and its also got better & lowered suspension than any other plus full body kit etc. . It is very rare as only 6 were ever made and this is the only 1 left . This is a Genuine lovely looking police car that is still all fully loaded with the lights, pa system, sirens etc etc and I have all the history & info on it including all the police logs for every time this car was used right down to what officer drove it and to where etc . Its been fully rebuilt & restored with everything being done and new including engine rebuild and all new steering rack / sub frame / suspension / radiator / oil cooler / New cylinder heads , water pump and The front diff has also been rebuilt plus New front prop shaft, New shocks all round and springs and bushes also Hand brake cable, fuel pump and carrier etc . I've got receipts here totaling over £4, 600 and that's without the receipts that's been misplaced & without cost of the respray and so on.. So really is a Fantastic looking car and rare . Its fully road legal & Mot'd until 24th May 2018. The car is 29 years old and lovely condition This is beautiful solid example with solid bodywork all round and mint arches / floor & chassis etc it really is a good example . This is a real eye catcher and turns heads everywhere , I take it to car shows all over the place . I'm in no hurry to sell and wasn't sure what to ask for it really but after thinking hard about it and knowing you wont buy another like this anywhere plus the condition and full cost to have it looking like this then Its got to be worth a fair bit so I've priced to what I would really like to see for it and I've had few other Granada police cars that have all sold for very good money but not really been a patch on this to look at and in this condition . I even sold 1 and its gone to the Usa and now sits in a Museum . Don't forget this is rare one & a 1 off a kind so I'm not 100% sure I'm doing the right thing and if asking enough for it really but there we are could be a right bargain for someone and in time could be worth double so got to be worth around £9, 995 ovno . As I've said I've got all the info & write up etc on this concept car and The engine / gearbox is A1 and it starts & drives A1 plus pulls like a train with plenty of power if ever needed . Lovely looking car throughout and everything still looking new.
Anything will be considered in a part exchange if it helps and if its of interest to me. I'm into all things Classic Car / 4x4 / Car / Caravan / Car trailer or a Camper etc so anything will be considered so try me you never know ! Im also interested in a small car that is very cheap tax etc for a learner driver or a Fiesta Tdci Or to be honest cash is always best so open to sensible genuine Cash offers but please no silly offers . I'm not going to sell this unless I really get an offer I cant refuse so please don't waste your time or mine with silly offers. I'm just testing the interest and of course for the right deal I will let it go but if not I will just keep & continue doing car shows with her .
